I'm Rachel, AKA your dog's new bestie.
I grew up right here in Dunmore, and I'm back in town with 12+ years of experience in animal care and training, ready to serve my community of Bucktown and beyond.​​
From caring for pets in their owners' absences, to training exotic animals at an AZA-accredited zoo, to providing canine teaching and human coaching across central and southern Pennsylvania - you could say I've picked up a few things along the way.

My goal is to help you and your pup live a fulfilling life together, and that looks different for every dog-human duo. I take the time to get to know you and your pet, meet you where you're at, and build a training and enrichment plan that works for you both. ​​

As a Dunmore native returning to the home of the Bucks, I felt strongly that my brand should encompass my story and my life. And while the company name pays homage to my hometown, the meaning behind it goes far beyond a play on words.
The Dog
A symbol of loyalty, love,
and friendship.
The Buck
A symbol of strength,
resilience, and leadership.
The dog’s unwavering presence underscores the importance of deep, supportive relationships in achieving personal fulfillment, while the buck’s attributes remind us of the strength and leadership necessary to forge paths and inspire change.
The combined symbolism between the dog and the buck represents a balanced approach to life, much like dog training and our connections with our pets --- where love and loyalty nurture the relationship, and strength and leadership guide the journey forward.
